After meeting, email minutes of meeting to your boss and colleagues to ensure whole team is on same page. and get assign off from your boss. On regular intervals, send him status of work allotted with deadlines and tasks completed. This will ensure, that boss is updated on regular basis of work status. Also ask for feedback and inputs from boss about the progress of work.
